So some may know I am in the process of a scouting tool that is currently in a data storage phase of the project. Here is some analytic data I decided to do that has been ran against ALL league and ALL ladder games played (7 games).

I'm more disappointed to see that it has been ran 272 times in Journeyman...can you post the biggest offenders of the play from each tier?

Basically just hard data to what we already know... GL Outside rushes and QB outside rushes are clearly overpowered or NO ONE in GLB knows how to stop it.

Actually yes I can but felt it wasn't pertinent to the data set.

Well it isn't easy is part of the battle.

But if everyone is publicly bitching about a play being OP, everyone will take to the OP play.

Had no one said anything, and found out ways to slow it down silently inside their team forums or even network forums, the play wouldn't have blown up like it did. history is obviously repeating itself because this is just what happened with the 4wr Spread dive.

If you find something OP (Xavori and other "trendsetting" abusers) Stfu and use it. Now the same people abusing it are trying to make these lol guides about stopping the play when it takes a fairly strict playcall and defensive build to stop it Once you tell the wrong person, the cat is out of the bag and the GLB community which is disgustingly accepting (and almost dependent) of cookie cutters will take every play and every formation given to them to the BANK.

That will stop the spamming problem! Awareness is the best prevention right?

People have been using the GL QB roll out and GL HB Sweep since season 1...I know this because my team ran them both and blew teams up....at that same time - most of the "top plays" were gl sweeps..

This is not a new thing...and it certainly isn't some magical discovery by Xavori...(or by me by the way)

The reason why GL sweeps are so good is because people still don't know most goalline designated plays suck, and people don't know how to put their players in a good position to react to the play.

QB Rollout is being abused because of the publicity it was given. You think I don't know qb rollout lit people up in s1?
I have a pretty good idea of what was working and what wasn't inside the top ~25. But no one broadcasted what was working for them and what wasn't. Thats why OP plays were very low key and only used by those who experimented enough to find them.

GL Qb rollout? Nah, most of you just shoved this play down the throats of others until they were forced to use it themselves (even if they don't build for it) or risk losing games.

The community is at fault here, can't expect Corndog and Co. to drop everything they are doing and run to the rescue because some people couldn't keep the situation under control. Big offender imo is Yorick's. Make a team revolving around QB Rollout? Pathetic, annoying, and just plain immature. I'm not saying you don't use good plays and run bad plays to lose out of chivalry, but CMON MAN.

If people didn't know about the play by now they aren't going to read this thread to find it either.

I wonder how effective these plays are against teams that are made to stop the run. I mean if you are built to defend the pass shouldn't you get wrecked in goalline situations? People don't want to sacrifice in this game.
