NEW JERSEY SURGE ARE ON TOP OF THE POWER POLLS!
Week 4:
Pick of the week: Woof over Dinos 38-0 (28-0 actual score). I was right about this blow out.
Pick of shame: Bayou Bengals vs NJ Surge. What else can I say other than GOOD GAME Surge, you were the better team.
Last Week 3-3
Overall 11-7
Now onto Week 5:
Bayou Bengals vs Woof Woof - These two teams find themselves in the GAME OF THE WEEK! Woof is coming off of a big win and the Bengals are coming off of a big loss. Both of these teams want to run the ball because that's what they do best. Woof's defense has given up only 7pts in all league games combined! They also do a great job of stopping the run (4th in KRYPTON). Bengals defense did not look good last week giving up 28pts to NJ. SBB does run the ball better than any other KRYPTON team so far this season (1st in rush O) and both ladder losses for Woof have come to running teams. This game will be a test for both teams. Can the Bengals bounce back? Can Woof prove that ALPHA DIV is the tops of KRYPTON? I have to go with the Bengals this week. Bengals win 14-7.
Vandelay vs Colorado High - Vandy lost in an upset to Jax Wolves last week 14-20. They gave up 345yds through the air (7yds/pass). Vandy attempted 73 passes in that game! I believe they are going to have to balance out their offense somewhat if they want to make the playoffs this season. There are just too many dropped passes in rookie ball. CH... how do I get a handle on you? Are you going to be GAMMA DIV champs, or are you a middle of the road team who will beat up on weaker opponents? We won't know for another couple weeks. I like Vandy in this game, I think there offense will be too much for CH. Vandy wins 20-7.
Mannheim Jags vs River City Ransom - RCR is not the team I expected them to be so far this season. Mannheim has proven that they will be in the hunt for a playoff spot once we get down to the last couple games. Neither of these teams has a real killer instinct when it comes to their offenses. Mannheim only scored 12 against a poor CCL team and RCR took a step back last week with a 7-14 loss to Colorado. I expect a low scoring game. I give the edge to the Jags but I think this will be a close one. Jags win 10-7.
Bradford Dogs vs Tux Dinos - Bradford is bad. Dino's are all CPU and now have an inactive owner. As the season goes on I think the Dinos will start to perform worse and worse. This is a good opportunity for Bradford to get a much needed win but does their staff know how to get it done? Going on a limb here... Dogs win 14-13
Jax Wolves vs NJ Surge - Oh NJ... Where do I begin? NJ is the toast of KRYPTON and a favorite to go deep into the playoffs. Jax put a hurt on Vandy last week and are in the mix in GAMMA DIV. Does Jax have some momentum after that upset victory? Does NJ have a let down after a HUGE win over the Bengals last week? I have been picking against NJ in big games but that trend ends here. NJ wins 28-0
Norfolk Tides vs Capital City Horns - I'm going to rant a little bit here. CCL lured multiple S* players to his roster, failed to sign any staff, played horrible O and D schemes... and is now an inactive owner.
Now these agents are stranded on an inactive team with no shot of being competitive! The owner started a thread in the teams looking for players forum a couple weeks ago and he promised the world to everyone. I actually PMd him to see what sort of team he would be running. His response was vague and it seemed to me that he didn't really have any experience or talent so I decided not to promise him any players. Then when he updated his thread he said he wanted 2 Man CBs and 2 Zone CBs...
I am not sure how you can play half your CBs in man and half in zone? This guy has no idea what he's doing and now he ruined the experience for multiple S* players and even more regular dot's agents... I really hope that one of his players steps up and contacts support to buy this team and get it headed in the right direction. Rant Ends. #neverpickingCCLagain Tides win 21-7
