Damn man. I hope corndog isn't rushing his QB of 10 sprint, 10 quick and low chem as grounds for seeing if QB rushing is imbalanced.

You need a full rushing built team with 2 QB's and 2 HB's to share in stamina and morale hits.

Xav, watching you constantly blast defense of QB roll outs because your team is built for it (along with so many others) when there's no grounds in this instance, just to push your agenda, is just more reason to skip over your legit comments on other stuff.

Seriously, you are the FOX NEWS of QB Roll outs.

how do you build a team to defend against QB rollouts differently than a team to defend anything else?

I'm confused.

Hardly.

Every single thing I've said in defense is true. Not one person who's argued against me has been able to explain how it's overpowered.

It fails more than it works. It doesn't work unless you build for it. The vast majority of successful teams in GLB2 are passing, and of the good rushing teams, more of those are HB than QB.

If it was overpowered, none of that would be true. Instead, the game would be nothing but a bunch of teams running QB Rollout, and I'd be right there with everyone else arguing it needs fixed.

Yes. It's a good play, especially for a team like Yorick where I built for QB's run. But I get long TD runs on QB Slams and HB sweeps and HB offtackle and pretty much every play in my playbook (cuz I don't keep bad plays). I'm building for more HB less QB specifically because HB sweeps are far less likely to be TFL.

Oh, and even Corndog's rookie team got TFL's against me, including this loltastic one...

LBs + secondary don't focus on pass stopping skills?

You have LBs and safeties that are focused in pass stopping skills?

Well Xav, your arguments were valid when people defended goal line with ..goal line. The whole 'learn 2 play' thing applied. Now that the entire playerbase is trying to stop QB running backs and complaining in full force is red flag enough. I think that's all people wanted. And obviously corndog is doing his greatest to test it...

It's a pretty beast strategy, and if a team wants to exploit the game mechanics to rush out of the quarterback position, go for it. But it just needs to be looked at as all flavor of the month meta. I think that's all people want on the realzies.

You're schtick is probably pretty safe. You don';t need to be the shining light of defense of the formula. You are just 1 of like 50 teams taking advantage. Your part of the herd man and not an innovator. You don't need to step up for the rights of all QB roll out machines everywhere. Or you can be.., I dont care. Just trying to help chillax you before you feel right arm pain.

edit: Left arm? Can we get a phsyician to confirm. is there a doctor in the house? Oh wait WebMD,..yep, left arm.

If you want cheesy, watch Rhode Island's QB complete hurried passes to totally covered receivers again and again and again...

I mean, I was pretty sure going into the game that it really didn't matter if I played coverage or not, but yeesh. Thankfully RI's WR's got sore hands early on and quit catching, because we never really stopped them.

As for the offense, my HB's, not my QB, won that game. When all three HB's are averaging over 5 yards a carry, it's just a matter of time before your defense breaks.

can a sophomore team cheese the ball up the field against whatever the 'default' settings are for the #20 team in the game? (dookie island)?

Come now Xav. Let's not pretend that your HBs can do what they do without the threat the QB's pose to defensive coordinators. I applaud what you're doing. You know I'm a fan of the idea. It will force all of the sophomore tier to build to try and stop it and guarantee they're hopelessly overmatched by my own pass heavy offense at veteran.

And saying that Rhode Island cheesily marched down the field for 24 points against middle overload with quick passing is hilariously incorrect and you know it
