Is it worth making a run stopping DT or DE? Or teams are passing way too much and it's not worth making players like these?

Even the teams that are running teams, it seems like it's the secondary/LBs that stop the run the most...just my opinion

However, good run stopping DL don't get pancaked as often, which frees up the secondary/LBs to get in there for the tackle unblocked.

Blitz Awareness will help your Dlineman make more tackles on HBs/FBs. (also a strong proponent of snap reaction)

Even if the DT/DE isn't getting the stop, just keeping that OT/G/TE engaged so the LBs and safeties can try to take the runner down is huge. Otherwise, run block focused OLs will just knock your DT/DE on their ass and move on to the next.

i can't imagine a Vet powerback meeting a tech DE 1 on 1 during an off tackle.
bad bad thoughts.

so you can't imagine a veteran tackle breaker meeting a DE who uses technique to break blocks?
I didn't realize tackling ability and block breaking ability were mutually exclusive.

DD uses 3 Run Stopping DTs and 1 Pass Rushing DT, we do very well stopping the run.
