Week 1 Predictions: Tough week to predict based on no previous base, but here we go…

Jershon Stripling Warriors vs. Carolina Pirates

This game will played under 50 points with the Pirates attempting to control the clock and keep John Beck and the superstar bound offense off the field. This is a balanced matchup with neither team showing an advantage. The great coach gives the Pirates the nod, but the home field along with the two superstar DT’s plugging the middle Jershon will win it late.

The Pa Dong Dragons balanced offense and good defense will cause problems for the Rapper’s Delight. In the end, Ebron and the passing attack will be the difference. Will get better as soon as we get a little further in.

I was so used to coasting until last season and then decided to fix the mistakes people made in S1. I think a lot of people over do it with S*'s. Don't get me wrong, they are great but they take a lot of cash and then you add the Salary % increase in their traits and then you don't have a full roster so the likelyhood of being weak in an area becomes a higher risk. It's also not the number of S*'s you have but how you use them. I ran a scrimmage that proves that .

I agree with you Reaper... The benefits are obvious to see, but it will not be until later that these benefits come at the cost of the team. I can see up to five or six, based on positions with smaller salaries, but teams with a lot of superstars in key positions could feel the burden badly. Conditioning will play a major factor along with chemistry. In any case, I will be watching the Jershon experiment very closely. Does enough superstars outweigh the chemistry disadvantage? We shall see.

Yeah, that is a wicked experiment. Not too keen on playing against them. Love to see them succed, but in midseason I think they have to cut some players. 50 chem is bound to hurt their effiency.

I agree...the lack of depth is gunna hurt sooner then later.

Here's to hoping the Storm can start the season off with an upset
