Alpha has been the stable corner of Osprey for the last few seasons. All the teams in this division know each other well as this is the 3rd season all 4 teams remain in Osprey. Tampa has had their way with all of them, but frankly Osprey is not far from that logic either.

Tampa has kept Osprey in their strong hold grasps. Each season there is a sliver of hope that someone is going to knock them off the pedastool, but each season they prove why the are the best team. Tampa each season also is one of the better defensive teams by providing plenty of pressure and stopping teams from getting a rhythm. On the offensive side of the ball Tampa will try to pound it out and wear the opposing teams down. They are not a pass first team, but they are efficient in the pass game when they need to be. Each season Tampa will falter early and then gain some momentum as the season goes on, gearing up for the playoffs hitting their stride. With the way the league looks this season, I can't give them the favor of winning the league but they are definitely in the discussion.

Sacramento B-Squad - Ladder Rank : 42
Sacramento was touted as the worst team in the Alpha Division last season in pre season predictions. This season will not be the case. They are returning much of the same roster with a plan in place to dominate the run game. Will teams be able to scheme against them to limit the controlled style offense that Sacramento wants to present? For the most part I believe that Sacramento strong domination in the run game will wear down teams and prevent their ability to stop Sacramento later in games. This all hinges on how the Sacramento defense performs early so that they give the offense time to play their game.
Projected Record : 8-6
Helmand Provincial Pathan Pansies - Ladder Rank : 51
Helmand has been touted as a spread offense that can slice and dice defenses up. Previously they would have issues stopping opposing offenses which lead to more losses than they should have had. Turnovers have also been of concern for this team, despite their efficiency on offense. This offseason there have been quite a few changed with roster moves to become a better balanced team, but more so to improve the consistency of gameplay. The downfall of this movement will be that they will show high volumes of inconsistency while the chemistry is building. Next season Helmand should be primed to perform well but this season they will have some growing pains.

DeepRoute Allstars - Ladder Rank : 52

DeepRoute is on the cusp of failure this season. At the point of writing this up there are many expiring contracts and doesn't look like they will sign before end of offseason. If this becomes true expect very few wins, but if they do sign, then I would say expect that the prediction will be slightly off. Previously DeepRoute was always in the playoff wildcard race.
