I figured y'all must be getting tired of team evaluations, so I decided to point out how much better the players are in Oberon. Also, I was bored out of my mind this morning and this occupied about 45 minutes of time.
Putting the list together had some "Well, duh" parts to it as well as some serious surprises.
In the "Duh" category was the QB quality of three of the four playoff teams. The fourth, Glasgow, is a power run team, so also "duh" that their QB isn't there.
In the "huge surprise" list was that with Lost Lounge and Air Raid both throwing 400-500 yards per game on average, neither have a top ten HOF receiver, yet they both have TE's. Apparently there's something about having QB's who are excellent at making reads spreading the ball around to the TE first, and then to different WR's if the TE is covered.
Also in the surprise was that two of the CB's on my defense are considered HOF even though they get torched by those QB's almost at will. In the case of my guy (Roman), I have not a clue why he's #1 other than maybe his 55% RecAllowed stat.
I also stopped at 10 because while it was interesting looking at all the players that Oberon has if you go down to 30 or so, I didn't feel like typing them all out.
Anyway, here's the sophomore Top 10 HOF players that are in Oberon along with their ranking.
