like the LB on this play

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/54851/3512705

just decides to spin around for no apparent reason - which means there is probably a very good GLB reason.

I have seen this happen a few times here and there - similar to the CB 'run around the WR in a complete circle' fiasco.

GLB2 is sooooo accurate in comparison to RL where players occasionally use this move as it's easier to keep balance and speed when changing directions O_o

that would be bad man awareness.

iirc ZEB has the two mlbs in man...

therefore your LBs have to make an awr check to switch from pass coverage -> Run stop.

The spin is your LBs turning around to run backwards then making the awr check and turning back around to get the ball carrier.

You are awesome Jampy - now I totally understand why it is logical to spin in a circle when failing any awareness check.

Might be awareness as I don't believe I see that on any ZEB replays in Seasoned.

They aren't spinning in a circle, they are turning, then turning back. happens all the time. you are just getting hung up because the players end up turning in a full circle, which is definitely logical due to momentum.. etc.

Ya they are just heading into coverage and then turning back towards the run game.

LILB is obviously headed for TE at the snap but realizing that its a run in your replay he makes the full circle back towards the line.

RILB here shows you what more awareness can do for stopping that half turn and making a b-line for the play.

I can see that. I was picturing Bort and Co. sitting around throwing out ideas, and a discussion something like this -

So what happens if they fail an awareness check? What do they do?

Well, we could just have them do nothing...

Naw, we need some indication that they are 'unaware' - how about we have them turn in a circle. Like they are, you know, confused.

I like it. Make it happen.

Well I mean if they do nothing right away your coverage fails if its a pass.

I don't see how it can be explained any more clearly than this.

I wish Bort was more into Anime.

I'd love to see the bots get Anime expression bubbles or faces when shit happens.

Maybe not so much to the point that when an SA activates that it cuts away from the action to have the player like power up and grow huge muscles before doing it, but expressions should suffice.

Like a thought bubble with squiggly marks in it, or a sad face for morale loss.

...also epic TD dances.

Thriller TD dance SA imo

You make the entire defense be your back up zombies, humiliating them into a morale penalty.
