So it took me a while to get out of the depression that was the Burghers crushing defeat to BOSS. But when I did, I started to notice some very weird things. One of the first plays I came across was this one, done during our first drive.

A lot of things happen in this play, that up until the final league game hadn't been going on. I'm wondering if Bort did a ninja adjustment to the sim like he used to do back in GLB1?
So a few things are just totally wonky with this play. Firstly, every player on the Burghers, which I'm sure is no surprise has 40+ Run block awareness, and if applicable, the same or more lead block awareness.
So the oddity with this one play alone is, notice, Terrance Lloyd - 55 Run Block Awareness - Runs a route!? instead of picking up his CB.
Red Bynum - 47 Run Block Awareness, 46 Lead Block - picks up no defender and just idles in the snap position, and the same for the TE Phineas Cyr.
This happens multiple times in this game. I'm not questioning our loss to BOSS, a well played game and a great defense was obviously called by them. But can anyone explain what exactly is going on in these plays? Because I'm totally at a loss, considering just as far back as our game versus Denton, everything was fine.
Edit: It had crossed my mind that this is possibly the result of exceptional run blocking? But would high break blocking cause opposing players to develop down syndrome? I've seen players with high break run block to take excellent tackling routes to players, and to obviously get off blocks very fast - but never jedi mind trick the opposing defender into not even acting, or running a receiving route on a running play lol.
