Warrior General Games

Well, here it is. Our final regular season league games. For those lucky ones who made the playoffs, we will have another game or 2, but for most teams this is the end. It's been an awesome first season as owner, and I'm glad that the forum stayed pretty active. Here are my final predictions:

Montana Crocodiles(2-11) vs Milwaukee Breakers(1-12)
This one is bad. Real bad. Both teams are horrible. Whichever one wins will win because of a lucky roll. Montana wins 20-13

Jersey Goons(10-3) vs Buffalo Gangstarz(6-6-1)
Jersey is trying to get back on track and ready for the playoffs after a GL sweep beat-down. Buffalo has been drowning in mediocrity for quite a while now. These two teams played in a 10-3 slugfest that Jersey pulled out early in the season. I think Jersey has gotten better since then and will win by more this time. Jersey wins 27-7

All Madden(13-0) vs Charlotte Ninjas(1-12)
The best vs the worst. It's gonna be ugly. All Madden wins 51-0

D.C. Corrupt Politicians(5-8) vs Galactic Empire(6-7)
This is an under the radar good game. These two teams are pretty darn close. I wouldn't be surprised by either team winning this one, but I am going to give the slight edge to Suga Honey Ice Tea and that D.C. offense. D.C. wins 27-24

Santa Fe Sugar Dwarves(7-5-1) vs Winnipeg Wrath(9-3-1)
These two teams played to a tie earlier in the season. This should be a good one. It's too bad it wasn't for a playoff spot, or it would be even more exciting. I still haven't figured Winnipeg out. They have the firepower on offense to really do some damage, but they haven't quite figured out the best ways to use all that talent. Santa Fe isn't flashy, but they play tough defense and find ways to score. I'm going with the upset here. Santa Fe wins 20-17

Copenhagen Vikings(4-8-1) vs Alaska Assassins(12-1)
Alaska wins 47-3

I would've picked Winnipeg in my picks. You can never bet on Santa Fe.

So I got the Montana vs Milwaukee score exactly right, but I switched the teams.

I picked Jersey 27-7 and they won 24-7. So close.

I picked all Madden 51-0 and they won 57-0.

I picked D.C. by 3, but Galactic won by 3 and the score was off.

I totally blew the Winnipeg vs Santa Fe game.

I picked my team to win 47-3 and we won 47-0, and I was almost exactly right if this play below goes differently.

I only picked 3 correct winners though.

So the past few games I've been running outside with success and my offensive line has been getting a good amount of pancakes. This game I decided to run inside 100% on first down and see what happens. Not nearly as many pancakes. Maybe I was just getting them on tired defenses later in drives.

Rob you have been getting real close on most of my games. I think I missed a FG too. Would have been 27-7 with that one.
