Denver's win over Alpine gives this more meaning. Assuming most things hold course in week 13, then D'haran won't just be playing to win the division in week 14, but they'll be playing to make the playoffs altogether. A loss to Rhode Island could very well mean Denver is the wildcard. Assuming, of course, that Denver doesn't get upset the last two weeks.

sure it, but that's football. The 7-9 seahawks got in to the playoffs a few years back and beat the favorited saints.

it's football but it's not NFL football haha...that 5-8 squad doesn't have a legit shot at an upset

Just checked, they have scored 0 points against the top ranked teams in this league (Denver, D'haran, Alpine, RI)

I like the way the playoffs work here. The regular season matters. If it were the other way around, D'haran would have no reason to care about the Rhode Island game. In fact, they'd probably have ample reason to not try hard.
Can't please everyone. IMO, the way the leagues work in GLB2 are infinitely better than how they worked in GLB1.

i don't think it's even close in how the way playoffs worked, GLB1 always gave anyone that had a shot at the title a shot, this one clearly doesn't

I like it too, but I could also see it having two wild card teams. But then again, that would be 5/12 teams making the playoffs

Give first round a bye.
