If you'd seen the mess I made of Yorick's last defense, you'd be encouraging me to spend as much time as I could on it

I'll probably change our offense entirely for this one. Maybe not though. But probably.

we are focusing on implementing that punt -> punter fumble -> pick up the ball -> return for 109 yard TD playbook.

That's what I do when we play LL, just for Xav.

*passes out*
I really, really need to quit watching games without checking boxes scores.
Thankfully, my circulatory system and heart are the only parts of my body that aren't breaking down, or that game might very well have done me in.
GG Air Raid.

GG Xav. Can't help but feel like ya'll got away with one there.
I don't know how many times Cleveland elected to throw to the covered receiver against Middle Overload, but it was too damn many times. One of the more frustrating sims I've watched this season. It's one thing when he gets sacked trying to burn that play, but when he elects to not throw to the obvious potential touchdown what seemed like a dozen times, it just blows my mind.

I'm more than a bit irritated how many times it ran Middle Overload. I specifically stuck other blitzes in the playbook vs 4WR's AND turned down the blitz percentage in passing situations specifically to try to prevent just that.
I will obviously have to spend more time in the lab figuring out why the sim loves that freakin' extreme risk play....
However, I consider holding you to 20 points or less to be a major success. And I'm really hoping I don't have to play you in the playoffs

No doubt, it's a big sucess. Holding us to 20-24 seems to be the magic bullet for beating us. That and we apparently just absolutely cannot win games against top 5 teams.

Our plan...let me remind you:
Me: On defense I reduced blitzes some and went to all outside pressure
Me: inside never gets there
Me: Not that I think I'm gonna get that many sacks anyway
Me: Just keep him from throwing anything long
Me: force long drives, hope for mistakes
Sieg: hope is not a plan
Me: Hope is this girl I banged once a long time ago...
So for the most part I kept forcing long drives, and tthen this:

That mistake I was hoping for.
THAT MEANS IT WAS MY PLAN!!! Mine. All mine. Not yours. You refused to acknowledge it as a plan. Therefore, credit. U no can haz!

Yeah, that Ernesto fumble was brutal. It was nail>coffin time in my head as he was turning the corner... then not so much.
BTW sieg, us not stopping critical 3rd down conversions isn't anything unique. Story of our season. We don't have the builds on defense. Too many bad SA choices, too many SPs in useless zone awareness. We've got plans this offseason to improve it, but probably not astronomically.
