Week 10 predictions- Two more weeks of divisional play…

Montreal Blue Knights (4-5) v. Minnesota Stunners (8-0-1)
In this divisional matchup, the Montreal Blue Knights will host the Minnesota Stunners. The top team in the league will travel to a team which continues to improve. This will be a strong test for the Blue Knights, and is a must win game for a team looking to sneak into the playoffs. The Blue Knights will look to control the clock and keep the Stunners off the field, but too much defense from the Stunners. They will control field position and the clock. Stunners will win this one in a late blowout.
Prediction: 38-3 Stunners

Valetta Vampires (0-9) v. Band of Brothers (2-7)
In this divisional matchup, the Valetta Vampires will host the Band of Brothers. This is an intriguing matchup considering this could be one of the last shots for the Vampires to gain a win this season. They have been improved of late, but so has the Band of Brothers. The Vampires will look to be more efficient with the football and try to improve on the effort last week; whereas, the Band of Brothers hope to improve and last week’s result. They should be able to move the ball a little better this week. The Vampires have the edge in the matchup ratings, but they will have to put drives together to win games.
Prediction: 10-6 Band of Brothers

Canton Bulldogs (3-6) v. 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers (7-2)
In this divisional matchup, the Canton Bulldogs will host the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers. Nebraska has the edge in this matchup. Canton is coming off a loss in which they only scored 3 points. This will not get it done against the 2nd ranked total offense in the league. Gale Sayers will have a busy day on special teams in this one, while the Frazier, Green & Benning show is good for at least 3 TD’s in this one. Nebraska will win this one in a blowout.
Prediction: 34-10 Huskers

Eugene Hellhounds (2-7) v. Sexy Dance Fighters (8-1)
In this divisional matchup, the Eugene Hellhounds will host the Sexy Dance Fighters. This matchup involves two teams on a different spectrum. The Sexy Dance Fighters hold a narrow one game lead over the Huskers, and Eugene would be looking towards a lottery draft pick if one existed. Eugene is going to struggle to move the ball, which will lead to great field position for the Dance Fighters in this matchup. The only question in this one is if Vader will share the ball some with Sanders in this blowout.
Prediction: 38-0 Sexy Dance Fighters

LaPaz Challengers (2-7) v. Eastern European Alliance (5-4)
In this divisional matchup, the LaPaz Challengers will host the Eastern European Alliance. LaPaz is coming off a tough loss against the Sexy Dance Fighters, while the Alliance looks to keep pace with the rest of the Bravo Division. This is a must win game for the Alliance, and a tough spot against a heavily improved Challenger team. Worrell and the number 1 ranked passing attack will look to fill up the scoreboard against a team which prides itself on ball control and not making mistakes. This game is going to be the surprise game of the day. This will be a higher scoring affair than most Challenger games, and one that will be too much for the Alliance to pull out. The Challengers in an upset in this matchup.
Prediction: 24-21 LaPaz

*Game of the Week*
HOLY GUACAMOLE! (6-2-1) v. Mushroom City Fighting Shrooms (6-3)
In this divisional matchup, the HOLY GUACAMOLE play host to the Fighting Shrooms of Mushroom City. The GUACAMOLE! cannot wait to get back to playing the Alpha schedule; whereas the Shrooms are in a tough spot having to win out to secure a spot in the playoffs. This is a balanced matchup with a slight edge to the home team. These teams mirror each other both offensively and defensively. The Shrooms are 4th in the league in yards while the GUACAMOLE! are 5th. The Shrooms are 4th in the league versus the pass; whereas the GUACAMOLE! are 5th. The GUACAMOLE! are hoping to get the MVP tandem of Gale and Williams going against this stingy defense, of late, versus the run. This game has a load of great individual matchup, but this battle will be won on the edges, and the physical nature of the Shrooms will be too much in the end.
Prediction: 17-13 Shrooms

Good stuff Ryo. Watched my game only so far (it was kind of obscene to be honest)

Montreal is a good team at limiting possession time. That was a great achievement that game.
