Bort's timeout "logic" rears its ugly head, once again.

just curious how so?

this seems to be the problem with the end of that game

http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2568855&pbp_id=5501189 passing instead of running down the clock inside the 20

Meh, passing wasn't the problem, but the playcall was.

Gotta run the clock there. Game was tied so defense won't call a timeout. FG for the win

Actually the sim has been buggy with the offense calling timeouts in tie games like this. I yelled at Catch and Bort about this but it looks like it wasn't fixed as evidenced by Sunday Funday calling a timeout right before the interception.

Either way running is safer though, and pounding it up the middle 3 times takes more time off the clock compared to throwing into the end zone, even if the last 2 timeouts are called.
