I collected all data from the Hall of Fame, considering only Seasoned CBs and organized them in a rank according to their % of receives allowed. Of course, less received allowed, higher in the rank. This is the Top 10:

1. Dennis Fossenberg | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/24524 | 31.111%
2. Sarsippius Ark | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/15968 | 34.090%
3. Kipper Kalle | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/14602 | 37.209%
4. Big Rod Woodson | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/25187 | 37.837%
5. Prime Time | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/22521 | 37.931%
6. Bobcat Shine | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/18686 | 38.888%
7. Mickey Cochran | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/9939 | 39.215%
8. Mississippi Rivers | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/11158 | 41.176%
9. Rich Blaze | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/21129 | 42.857%
9. Fippy Darkpaw | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/12277 | 42.857%
10. Keenan Russ | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/664 | 43.243%
10. M.T. Mylode | http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/18798 | 43.243%

Funny thing is that I built this to improve my CB, which I felt was poorly built, only to find out he was the 8th best :/

Only 1 guy on that entire list is from a team in the 10, let alone top 25.

Should probably fix your metric if you're including players that haven't boosted ever.

This. It's a lot easier to put up a random stat when you're playing easier competition. It also doesn't take into account the type of D run by the team or if your DC is bhall.

I didn't include filters to the list, but they should be easy since I'm navigating through the whole source code and investigating each link with Python. Just a bunch of IF clauses.

I think the boosted thing is easy, I could also set a limit of games played or targeted plays. Any other ideas?

Since the DOM doesn't change much, these can be built from barely any HOF.

Honestly, in this game and in classic, CB may be the most difficult position to judge on performance (OL is arguable) without actually watching the games. You can look at rec allowed %, % of plays made vs. targets, total turnovers, missed tackles, sticks (just in 2), run stopping ability, etc. All go into how good a CB is, which makes it damn near impossible to make a list of top CBs.

for example, high pressure on QBs really affects completion percentage... making CBs look better than they actually are

Og is doing pretty well last I seen tho.

That being said not much sf's corners can be doing with the ramp of rushing teams they have faced.

Cb definitely is a tough metric. Especially given the amount people just throw short because of the high blitzing element that a lot of one trick ponies try and be.

High pressure is helpful but you don't get that on the top teams. They will nickel and dime you to death. The best possible scenario is to win the morale battle. But in many cases that's a battle of a couple luck plays to swing.

moral of the story, don't try to rank CBs.

Yeah, I was just giving you shit. Are you going to be working with any rookie teams next season? I'm probably going to be making a S*FB and S*DT and want to get them on a team that is actually going to be worth something.

If you're looking to be on a good team, why are you asking bhall?

2 top 5 teams in the game might be an indication.

I'll definitely concede rappers isn't as good as is like them to be though in sophmore.

Not sure. Thinking bout merging rappers and daddy next season in order to remove some of the bad balanced builds between me, homage, whatje, and bears with some of our better builds to make an actually competitive team. So a rookie team might be started from that.

I'm just messin' wit' ya.

And you should give Rapper's QB to DADDY. Having 8 superstars, and therefore no backups, on one roster would be lulzy.
