first unread post button: a link which takes you to the first post you haven't read in a thread.

previous forum link: say you're reading a thread in the football sub forum in general discussion. having a link at the bottom of the page that takes you back to the football sub forum.

I use tabs, and I read every thread, so neither of these are rly necessary tbh

That's a good option. Would still like a link at the bottom of the page which takes you back to the sub forum directory which got you into said thread.

With the lack of daily training and things for people to do with there dots forum functionality should be a top priority imo.
