Week 3 predictions- I start it off this week

LaPaz Challenger (0-2) vs. Eugene Hellhounds (0-2)
Matchup http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/348/464

A battle of winless teams in this one. Both are coming off wins in ladder games. LaPaz is at home and has an advantage according to the matchup; however, Eugene has the better offense in this one. This games will be decided on the ground, and based on previous struggles LaPaz win notch their first win of the season. You heard it here first.
Prediction: 17-7 Challenger
Outcome: 28-17 Hellhounds

Canton Bulldogs (2-0) vs HOLY GUACAMOLE! (2-0)
Matchup http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/160/559

A battle for first place in the Alpha Division in this one. These teams are moving in opposite directions. The Bulldogs have had the luxury of playing the weaker two teams of the division, but this changes when they play the Guacamole. The Bulldogs will keep this tilt close in the first half, but Dante Gale and the running game of the Guacamole will pull away in the second half.
Prediction: 31-7 GUACAMOLE!
Outcome: 24-0 GUACAMOLE!

now to the Bravo Division
Eastern European Alliance (1-1) vs Minnesota Stunners (2-0)
Matchup http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/125/284
*GAME OF THE WEEK *

Division leading Stunners travel to play the EEA is this divisional matchup. EEA boosts the leading passing attack while the Stunners have the leading rushing attack. The Stunners are currently ranked number 2 against the pass and have 31 sacks in just two contest. The EEA is probably the most improved team since week one, but this will not be enough.
Prediction: 21-17 Stunners
Outcome: 17-3 Stunners

Band of Brothers (0-2) vs Mushroom City Fighting Shrooms (1-1)
Matchup http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/218/436

Mushroom City will be traveling to the Band of Brothers in this divisional contest. The Shrooms are coming off a ten point defeat at home and are looking to turn the ship back towards the winning direction. They face a Band of Brothers team which has recently filled its ranks with more capable players since the start of the season. Band of Brothers will struggle to keep up with the pressure of the number 1 pass defense. They are an improved team, but too much ground and pound in this one.
Prediction: 41-3 Shrooms
Outcome: 19-0 Shrooms

Charlie division
Valleta Vampires (0-2) vs Nebraska Cornhuskers (1-1)
Matchup http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/438/362

Nebraska is coming off a big win last week and looks to continue the momentum as they travel to the struggling Vampires. The Vampires are still trying to fill the right pieces into place. This is a bad spot when the meet a running game that has found its groove. This one has blowout written from the start.
Prediction: 44-0 Cornhuskers
Outcome: 56-0 Cornhuskers

Sexy Dance Fighters (2-0) vs Montreal Blue Knights (1-1)
Matchup http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/334/77

Montreal will attempt to travel to the division leading Dance Fighters in this one. After falling behind 41-0 in last week’s game, the Blue Knights scored 21 unanswered to make the score more presentable. The Blue Knights will not come close to that total this week when they play a defense which has given up 3 points in their first two games. Their balanced attack will match their week 2 total.
Prediction: 43-6 Dance Fighters
Outcome: 17-3 Dance Fighters

Nice work ryokeley! I especially like the part where you pick my team to win a game!

I agree with all of the outcomes except that Eugene and European Alliance won't keep their games as close as you think.

Good Game EEA - I absolutely did NOT deserve to win that one after I created such an awful game plan (either that - or good D by you guys).

In either case - a game truly decided by the bounce of the ball...as I recovered fumbles...and your guys did not - thank you to whoever was rolling the dice.

fixed your post. I enjoyed the other ones too - but perhaps the losing streak by lapaz discouraged the writer.

Can't stop the nonstop rushing teams this early. Good game.

Boy, this could end up being a rough stretch for me. All you full rushing teams are giving me headaches!

Yeah I'm willing to accept a rough first year but after that, it better be good or else...!

By the way we did well today against Sexy Dance. Our DC stepped up big time. I, though, failed as an OC. That FG was the highlight of my day though. But otherwise, my O-Line is pretty much on vacation for now!

that's kind of how I have taken it as well. Not too worried about S1. I know what I want to do on O and D, but the builds need to catch up to it.

Taking the normal GLB1 approach to it.

And since there is no scouting tool (that's easily usable), I'm literally running the same 2 offenses over and over with minor tweaks here and there.

I actually have a defense that slows them a bit..not totally, but enough to where you can beat them......but since I'm on one of those rushing teams, I cant share that info

haha nice. I think my defense did fine today. Held Steve's team to 3ypc, which I would take any day in GLB1 or 2. I just can't find the magic I had in season 1 with the offense. So, testing, testing and more testing until I can get it running again.

believe it or not, in S1, my team was a top 5 ladder team for the majority of the season. We diced up a lot of people. Owner went MIA, which then dragged us down. Eventually I got ownership of the team in S2, but the damage had been done and we never were able to recover from the chem hit of dropping and adding new guys.
