New message is flashing and ppl are sending messages but when i click Open Chat, it doesn't open.

They finally listened to one of my suggestions! Part two was disable your forum message board posting abilities...hopefully that is coming soon!

all I can say is - I've experienced no problems with chat.
Have you checked to see if it works in a different browser? (firefox or chrome)
