I'm new and I just need some tips

Some combination of coverage tech, sprinting, and EITHER zone awareness or man awareness (depends on what style your team's coordinator runs more of). Deflecting is also worth some spending.

I'd say defecting, cov tech, and quickness/footwork.

I'd say whatever your DC tells you he wants out of your guy.

I have three different CB spec's I look for in my two distinct defenses. Following the majority advice given so far, that'd be the main CB build for my sophomore defense with the man aware, but not so great for the 1 oddball CB I have in that defense. And, in my rookie D it would sorta work, but I have other skills I want my guys working on at first.

So again, listen to your coach. You prolly don't want them micromanaging your build, but they should be able to give you an overall vision for how you'll fit into their scheme and suggestions for skills you want to work on.
