I found one already - you can no longer search your retired players. Which pissses me off, actually - since I had a bunch of builds I made and retired at midseason, testing out what trait balances I wanted on the S* I'm creating today.

on home page, right above your player list, click on "active" and select "retired" from the pulldown. then find the player you want.
no need to clutter everyone's quick search tab.
