Who is the best champion in the game? Legacy is proud to present the GLB2 Tournament of Champions - Season 2!
The GLB2 Tournament of Champions is a tournament determine the best league in the game! Representatives from each league will be seeded according to the strength of their league and compete against one another to determine the "best of the best".
League Representation
Upon the completion of the season, league representatives will be selected. I will contact the participants in the championship game of each league as semi-final games are played to determine who is willing to participate. If the league champion (to be determined 3/17) accepts, they will represent their league. If the league champion declines but the runner-up accepts the runner-up will represent their league. Responses from championship game participants must be received by end of day March 20. If neither the league champion nor runner-up is willing to represent their league, the league will not be represented and their spot will be taken by a wildcard team.
NOTE - If a team demotes, they are not eligible to represent their league.
Wildcards
Both the rookie and sophomore leagues will have at least one wildcard in addition to any league replacements. Wildcards will be selected based on ladder rank. Teams that either declined to represent their league or do not respond about their willingness to represent their league are not eligible for wildcard spots. I will begin contacting potential wildcard teams on March 17th. All responses for wildcard consideration are due by end of day March 20.
Sophomore Seeding
Leagues will be seeded by average ladder rank with representatives filling the spot for each league. In the event of a two leagues being tied league champions will be seeded above runner-ups. If two leagues are tied and represented by the same type of representative (champion or runner-up) then the team with a higher ladder ranking will be seeded higher. Wildcard teams will be seeded below league representatives in order of ladder rank. There will be 16 participants in the Rookie tournament. There will be no reseeding in the Sophomore bracket. The tournament bracket can be found here http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=452393&tclass=Sophomore and will be updated with participants by end of day March 22.

If two leagues are tied and represented by the same type of representative (champion or runner-up) then the team with a higher ladder ranking will be seeded higher. Wildcard teams will be seeded below league representatives in order of ladder rank. There will be 20 participants in the Rookie tournament. The bottom eight teams will have to play their way into the field in a single elimination play-in game. The top 12 seeds will be locked and the 13-16 seeds will be re-seeded after the play-in games to finalize the bracket. The tournament bracket can be found here http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=452393&tclass=Rookie and will be updated with participants by end of day March 22 with a final update upon completion of the play-in games.
Scheduling
Games can be scheduled either via quick-scrim or regular style scrimmage. If using the quick-scrim option the owner sending the quick-scrim should contact the other owner to ensure they are ready to put in their tactics. If there is a disagreement about the legitimacy of a quick-scrim game it is the responsibility of the sender to provide documentation that they received an affirmative response from their opponent before sending the quick-scrim. Deadlines for each round will be posted and the tournament organizers will work to ensure games are scheduled by given deadlines. A deadline may be extended, if necessary, to prevent disqualifications. The goal will be to have all games completed by the time playoffs in season 3 begin. The regular scrimmage option may removed if games drag on.
