Hello everyone!

I just logged in to GLB for the first time in probably 4 years and noticed there was 12K Flex Points on my account and there was a relatively new GLB 2 released. I figured I'd give this a little bit of a go. I come from the very start of the league (Season 1 USA Pro League Champs REPRESENT) and remember having a bunch of fun from back at the start.

Where would you guys suggest I start? Player guides, finding a team etc. I am interested in putting some time into this so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Unfortunately I am not sure I will fit in with your 'know what you're doing' style haha. I am so far out of practice that I really have no idea what I am doing right now.

Best place to start is to familiarize yourself with the FAQ stickies by Bort in the FAQ forum. After that, go through the Teams looking for players forum and get on-board with one of the organized looking rookie teams starting up next year. They'll typically have a private forum they can invite you to, and the agents will be more than happy to help with build ideas and advice. Asking for advice in main forums is going to get you a mixed bag of good advice and trolling. You won't get trolled so much in a team specific private forum.

You'll also probably want to save making most your players until the new season starts (March 22). You can make a player right now with all the XP he'd have if he played this season, but then you miss out on a season's worth of stats. Save most of that flex for guys you can grow more organically, and so that you can learn what skills you need as you watch them.

Ya theres a bunch of first timers who will be on the team so you will all fit in together and can learn together.

How much FP commitment should I have to a player? I am trying to figure out how many players I can safely make with 11K FP.

1 Free player requires no flex. You can make a few more easily enough with 11k.

Except for the extra boosts that aren't free.

By the time he needs those he'll either be sick of the game and not care, or he'll be hooked through the bag and buy more flex.
