Why is this still a mystery? Can we get an official breakdown?

We did get an official breakdown.
But then we also got a division last season where the official breakdown didn't match the actual results.
But the rest of the leagues seemed to work!

Head to Head
Points against
Points for

is what the official response was, as I recall. "The same as GLB1".

Most of the time, it seemed right.

In the Wolverine league last season, there were two teams that ended up tied, and H2H was tied, and one team had Points Against and the other team had literally every other tiebreaker imaginable. The league is since disbanded, one of the teams reset to rookie, so good luck piecing it together.

So...we don't really know. And it's not like you can go review last season data to figure it out without manually adding up points against/etc.

Yah I think I remember that case seemed to be guessed it was Points For that was used in that case. Wonder if they are using old GLB1 code when it was Points For.

I was under the assumption it was H2H, Points Against, Points For, then whatever.

i sure hope so or my rookie team is about to get screwed we won the head to head, we are ranked higher in the ladder yet we are tied for the wild card game and it shows us lower than them

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/league/48

we are the imps and we play ntempo today... but according to this if we win and the tigers win we are ranked lower than they are despite whening the H2H

I suspect that the problem is for whatever reason leagues that were created midseason have wonky tiebreakers.

*Edit: Hm...Wolverine league wasn't a midseason league in S1 (league with a weird tiebreaker situation)

Osprey was midseason though I don't think there was much for debate last season... Cougar and Gator both were as well might need to look at those to find out....

Something I was thinking about that BHall43 thought might be the case and depending on the situation might debate either point. We are focused on Points For or Points Against but it really might be the difference of PF - PA and that is compared. In some situations it would correlate the points for argument is correct in other the points against is correct, where as neither is correct.

At the end of the day, it should be up for speculation, it should be defined.

It was my team and Chicago that had the bug in Wolverine league. We were 1-1 H2H, I had fewer PA by 2 points, but Chicago had most other tiebreakers. Chicago won the division and no explanation was ever given. Neither of us reset to Rookie.

Ah, I thought Phoenix Phire was one of the teams in that division, which was another playoff team that did reset.
Thanks for the refresher
