I'm not sure where to post this and I'm still not really sure if I want to post this since this took me a decent amount of time to create but I've made a spreadsheet where you can select each position's contract (low, medium, or high) as well as the three traits for each player (including superstars) and it'll spit out how much the total team will cost compared to how much salary cap a rookie team has. It can be helpful when planning out a new team and you want some superstars. The spreadsheet itself isn't perfect and I probably have some rounding errors with some of the base salaries of each position but it should be close enough where there won't be much error

Here is the spreadsheet. Feedback would be cool since like I said, I spent a good amount of time doing this (pretty much an entire night of my free time)

If you want to use the spreadsheet the only columns you should be making adjustments to are the drop down menu's I created in columns F, G, H, and I.

Edit: Although this does make me want to put something together in VB to build the excel sheet.

Thanks. If you want a quick laugh just look at the IF statements I had to put together for the K, L, and M columns that spit out how much the trait you selected would cost you. Very very brute force but when you're doing it at 3 AM it doesn't really matter as long as it works.

Rofl, yeah that's straight brute force. I'd considered Just saving the modifier value and then doing all the math a the end lol.
