I've been quiet because I've been busy and the more plays I watch the harder it is to find anything good to say. I don't want to shit on anyone's hard work, so I'll just remain silent about those things instead of putting them on blast.

But I had to share this. Another reason screens don't work... even when it is setup perfectly the running path is crazy stupid, just like ...

I had stuff there, but I cut it out because it was just frustration from seeing the potential the game has. Just seems like somebody (with not enough football knowledge) cared at the beginning and time was put into it making a great football sim, then somewhere along the way it just turned into a "let's just hurry up and get this over with" type of thing.

Honest opinion - game is 50% complete. GW should take a week long break after the this season to get this thing closer to finished :/

Anyways, here's the play for your lols - http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/27044/2224439

But yeah the HB seems to be hardcoded to go outside his blocker regardless. It's possible he might be able to cut inside? I've seen some rushing plays where the HB was able to hit a different hole than the one drawn up in the play, but I don't know if he's allowed to in screen plays.

I'm still working on that spreadsheet. Just been way busier than last season and beginning of this season. Honestly, there are so many things on there it is overwhelming :/ It's sad that it seems like one person, you, has been expected to patch up all the blatant things pointed out already. You, and GW in general I think, could use some help.

Here's the best thing about the game though, you guys nailed the graphics and layout to me. There is very little that could be improved in that department. I grew up with SNES and those graphics are plenty for me and a sports sim genre.

I'm trying to mostly say good things and be quiet with anything else. My experience on here is most people just want to hear good things, or what they want to hear, and not so much the actual truth.

If you're looking for someone who is going to give you a straight answer without fluffing your pillow or bias, with an actual intelligent solution to the concern, my broad experience is waiting to be consulted.

I've had a few screens hit too, like 3 over these 2 seasons. Always a high risk adding it to the gameplan because even if it fires in the perfect situation and everything goes right, 9 times out of 10 the play shoots itself in the foot. Biggest problem is the ball carrier is only aware of himself and the closest defender. Same with each defender. Everyone else is invisible, for the most part. I like to say the players need glasses much more than increasing any skill.

WR screens can be deadly if you have fast WRs. I don't, unfortunately http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/27946/2316388

Happens all the time. It's usually like an off tackle play going between T and G. Also, I've seen the lead blocking FB go through the designated hole only for the HB to go through a hole one to the left or right pretty often.

I've got an incomplete spreadsheet with replays of all the things I can point out that need to be improved/fixed. I'll give that to GW and give them a chance to get things straight before ever posting that in the forums.

who cares about that, I want to see backs turn upfield on pitches before they hit the sideline.

Oh, didn't get that from what you posted before.

I have seen a handful of cutbacks up field before hitting the sidelines though. Don't remember what the off and def plays were, or if an SA fired on all of them to start the HB going N, but those plays are so rare I'm not gunna bother taking the time to find them. It shouldn't take multiple people multiple hours, or even minutes, to find a normal football move anyway.

All total failures.

I'd say screens should be removed instead of pretending like they are anything close to a viable option, until they are.

At least they aren't as bad as draws, especially since the man assigned to cover the HB now lines up LB distance directly over the HB, LOL!!!

And just for a bonus to get you those "laugh so hard you cry" tears... check out the pursuit on this one ;_)

I dunno if I really call either of those plays lol.

I mean replay #1 you are throwing to a back who I would have to imagine isn't really built to receive with how much running you guys are doing with him. Does he even have above 30 Receiving? This is a bit different stance I take in this game than GLB1 as PD's aren't normal currently so if you are winning on that roll a ton of the time that seems to be a really easy gift of yardage.

Replay 2 your OG is just too slow and misses the block.

I can understand the frustration with the OP play though. From both a defensive and offensive perspective. The entire play is shading to the sidelines. Defenders are even stupidly pursuing that angle into blocking interactions for no apparent reason other than blind faith that they know the HB will be heading towards the sidelines.

That was designed to be an inside screen. He probably would have gotten more yards that way also.

That worked because of bugged coverage.

Saying things are broken is fine.

Lacing it with insults, that's also fine.

But surely you have to understand that a borderline insult ridden report of something broken is going to be taken less serious than on that sticks to the actual game? Hey, I agree that screens aren't working perfectly, but adding that I apparently have no football experience and that WG is doomed and crap is just going to make me stop reading and disregard whatever point you had weaved in there.

You don't have to be nice, but I'm just going to disregard posts that are half insults.
