Just making sure - if a rookie team is exactly at the cap, and everyone resigns, when they move up to sophomore the team will still be exactly at the cap, correct? Just different numbers.

Or is there some sort of adjustment to allow in more salary room as you work up?

Yes sir, as long as the salaries stay the same (low/medium/high) you will be at the same cap %.

Nope.

Remember, traits that have salary modifiers are %-based. Bort routinely made my brain hurt in alpha w/ salary caps.

So what you're saying is even if my current salaries stay exactly the same, there's a possibility I might be over the cap next season in soph?

It doesn't scale at a 1:2 ratio or something clean and predictable.

some of my dots seems to have had salary increases somewhere in the 2.1-2.5% range

So if a team had 90% of the rookie cap, they'll be closer like 92%ish or something of the sophomore cap?

This is hurting my ability to add a third superstar...

It depends on how many of your players have trait modifiers and what those modifiers are.

I don't remember ever having a problem. If I could sign the same players with the same contracts last season, I could sign them the next season.

The only time there was every any problems was when traits were adjusted or Bort played around with the Cap.

Yep.

That is, and has been the only logical answer. No need to post more false info or wonder any longer.

no, no, no. No it doesn't. That answer (not for the first time) was the post immediately preceding yours. How did you decide you need to post something totally contradictory?

Piece of advice. Don't just reiterate what other people have told you. Take what you've been told as a starting point for finding and seeing the answer yourself. If a dumbass tells you something and you go off and preach to the world believing it is true, you look like just as big a dumbass. This isn't the first time you have been confidently stating wrong info in the forums, only for your excuse to be that that is what someone told you.
