I bought out my inactive owner for this season.

If I decide to restart the team, will I be able to have the team drop down to rookie ball? Or AM I going to have to let the team go CPU at season's end while putting myself back on the ownership list?

I'd like to drop it down and start over, but I see no options specifying that option for me.

Send a message to support. Based on past experiences they should be able to help you.

I don't see the option to demote on my team either, so I imagine it's not something that shows up til near the end of the season.

Once the playoff weeks start (on day 43), owner can mark their team for reset by using the checkbox that appears on team profile page. The team will be reset and moved to its new league on day 49, and the roster will be cleared.

Do you think teams can only reset to rookie? Or could you opt to stay in soph for another season?

Pretty sure it's just rookie. Letting people buy a soph team was stated as a one time thing, so unless they change policy...
