Heart is kind of a weird skill... I don't fully understand who needs it the most (other than QBs)

Watch games, see which players consistently have the lowest morale throughout the game. Those players need more heart.

I'm guessing that I will make my punters and kickers have extra heart, regardless of whether they need it or not.
Seems like your Punt Returner seems to take a morale hit.

I don't understand. Unless you are going with SAs that are 'powered by' heart, your kicker and punter probably won't need heart as their morales are pretty much 100 most of times.

That's as straight as you're going to get. It varies by team, position, build, and even team you're playing against. So there is no replacement for watching your own team and making your own observations... like most things in this game.

At this point its all conjecture. Until we have a few seasons of veteran complete its hard to say. The positions Jampy listed makes sense fwiw.

I've been getting it up on my Oline as well since most D players have showboat ability and once I can't block, game over for us.

Lets say 100% morale is 100% effectiveness and 0 morale is 70% effectiveness, for argument's sake
When your highest stats are 40~ in an example like this, 0 morale would be playing with about 28~
Does that hurt? Yep.
Is 20 or 30 more points in Heart going to be worth reducing that penalty in half? Definitely not, at least when points are that low.
Heart and Conditioning go to 100 like all the other stats. 20 Heart to 40 is not going to revolutionize your morale penalties.
