Warrior General Games

Some good matchups this week and next. Im looking forward to watching a few of these games...going to tell us alot about where teams are at. Right now its anyone's Championship to grab...lets see who steps up and takes it.

1) Iowa vs Portland...Portland played Providence tough in the last game and that always gives the next team a little something extra to worry about. Iowa, however might be playing their best football yet brought on by the loss of Providence a few games ago. I think Portland has a lot to be encouraged about...so dont get discouraged by this loss.

2) Reno vs Providence...Is Providence reeling or did they just have a bad sim. My guess is bad sim, I dont think the Reno team is at the same level and Providence racks up the offense once again.

3) LLF vs South End...The story here is that South End is rolling and finding them in contention to sneak in the playoffs. I think South End carries their momentum into this game and works over LLF.

4) GSD vs Doof...Doof riding high after the big win in the last game upsetting Reno. Doof finally gets a win...and then two!

5) Murder City vs Minnesota...GAME OF THE WEEK...The Stunners need this win to keep pace with Providence in Beta and Murder City is looking to continue their big statement after beating Providence earlier. Some may say this is going to be a blow out by how well Murder City has been playing. I dont underestimate TxSteve's game planning. Im saying it here first...this is going to be closer than many believe. I just think Jamz is playing to well to lose this one...but this could be a trap game.

6) Twin City vs Memphis...This one has me guessing really and could go either way. Both teams are struggling to find their identities and underachieving. Some one is going to surprise me here...just dont know who. Twin City had a huge ladder game today so Im going with them but for no other reason.

MCD wasn't a blowout. But it wasn't exactly close either. Defense was superb today.

It wasn't pretty. Pretty much impossible to win when we have 24% completions and you have 68%.

I don't know if that's all your D; bad rolls; bad builds; bad luck or some combination

Did Reno play today?

Wow...I don't know why people keep saying we (Reno) are talented. We seem to be getting our butt whipped. Pass protection and stopping the run is an issue we need to resolve.

Interesting defense by Providence. Every play they blitzed everybody and left all the DBs in one on one coverage with no help. Seemed to work as they got to our QB in about 3 seconds every play.

GG Niners...not sure what happened there but it wasnt pretty from my team. Absolute filfthy!

Niners are tougher than their record shows. But I am still shocked at that, since statistically Iowa beat them.
