Like in glb classic where the owner had a little box on the teams homepage where they could write something.
And the GM should have access to this as well.

Good idea. Better than having to make a forum post and hope everyone checks it before doing anything. Give modify rights to GMs too, please.

Actually I was thinking of just writing something so someone visiting the teampage could see. But It could easily be used for team messages.

Maybe there can and should be both? One public message for all visitors to your team page to see, one private message for team members.

Then again, the public message would probably be filled with with stupid comments like "ur ded lolololol" or some crap like that.

The private message would be useful though.

Not seeing the point of team messages. Players are already notified if there's forum posts from the home page, if they aren't checking that I doubt they are reading a message on a team page.

the team motto or thing visible to others could be a fun fluff thing, and very very easy to code
strike fear in the hearts of opponents scouts!
