Y'all are all lazy bums so I'm taking a turn this week and writing these from work. Someone else can queue up for next 'week'.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#1 Doinitin Djibouti vs #8 Queen City Brewmasters

Doinitin Djibouti and Queen City have a bit of a rapport, with 5 scrims played against one another since February 10th. Doinitin Djibouti is 3-2 in those matchups. Both teams are going to run, so expect a snorefest.

Turnovers, fumbles ldo, could be the death of one of these teams in this game. Ball control offenses can mean sure death and turnovers will only add to the pain.

Keep an eye on the pancake battle as well. Doinitin Djibouti and Queen City churn out some of the highest pancake totals in all of GLB.

Prediction: Queen City steals it, 30-24.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#2 Portland Ronin vs #6 Alpine

DigitalDaggers is a dangerous man. His Dreadnaught RB really tortured a lot of the alpha testers, even with builds that adjusted to stop him. We may be advancing towards some significant drag pain in the ass backs here.

Alpine's got history. Cavalier's got a history of fielding competitive teams and GLB2 hasn't been a skipped beat. Alpine's defense is un-zero like as well, with a pretty stout run game in the grand scheme of things.

Will the dagger boy find his run game? Or will Alpine give him a Norwegian wedgie?

Prediction: Alpine with the mild upset, 24-13.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#3 Jebediahs Oblong Ball Club vs #5 TT's Wolfpack of One

Time Trial was one the biggest tryhards in alpha testing, and while he fumbled early once beta hit, he's rebounded and rose back up the ranks quickly. He's gone 8-1 on the season (ladder games included), with the one scuff coming against none other than avgbrad's Jebediahs Oblong Ball Club. The two teams met in a ladder match back on February 8th, and Jebs edged TT out 31-28.

Who will win the battle of the solo-owned teams? Not tautology this time.

Prediction: TT's Wolfpack of One rolls, 34-21.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#4 Maine Snails vs #12 OG GLB

Maine's lost their last 3 ladder games. Definitely not a trend they'd like to continue, but OG GLB has some potency. Braxton Miller is a dangerous dangerous man.

Prediction: Maine continues to slide, with OG taking the win, 40-27.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#7 Sunday Funday vs #15 Legacy

Legacy doesn't stand a chance here. Sunday Funday is in a class above them.

Prediction: Sunday Funday, 35-10.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#9 Seattle Seahawks vs #13 Carolina Pirates

Seattle has a strong correlation in my head with OG GLB. They just rub off as teams of the same nature. I've personally struggled against them with Queen City, so naturally I'm going to favor them in these ladder rankings.

Carolina is made up of a bunch of agents I know nothing about but there defense seems to be carrying them. This is another game where I give the incumbent the significant edge.

Prediction: Seattle Seahawks, 42-13.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#10 Rocky Mountain Reapers vs #16 Zone Mage Wangbang

sunshineduck, Gart, Viet, etc. seem to litter GLB2 with teams. Merge already and do some Dryden Blueballs thinger. Rocky Mountain is solid, but the Canadians are playing too much joe-ball right now. They're secretely tryhards and that's going to net them the win.

Zone Mage Wangbang with the W, 24-21.
