Is there any difference outside of abilities/traits for individual players? For example, if neither team has anyone with either of those, there is no effect whether it is home or away performance wise?

Well, I will give you an assignment.
Why don't you go to 'leagues' and find each team's home and away record.
I say 500 is a good sample number. If either home or away team has a significantly better winning percentage in those 500 games, good for you, you got the answer.
If not, then you can come back here and ask some bunch of more ridiculous questions like this one.

There's no impact other than jersey color and the Home Town Hero/Road Warrior SA. Home Town Hero is more powerful of the two.

Home Town Hero SA already covers that.

This is one of the douchiest posts I've seen in a while. This makes Jampy look like Mr. Rogers...

Lol +1 coming your way.
I wouldn't mind if there was some sort of positive for being the home team, but then again I'm not upset that there is not one. I think this could be an interesting thing for team owners to do if implemented properly.
