and this too: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5151618

Seriously, I've put about 20 scrims out there in the past 4 days and I cannot figure out why certain guys on my roster are getting 0 plays and why certain guys on my roster are playing in positions that they are not listed actively under.

My starting HB is returning kicks, despite him not being on the KR or PR depth charts (and the backup HB is supposed to be the primary KR/PR, with 2 aditional WRs backing him up).

I have 2 TE's who I am trying to play at WR 4 and 5 since we run mostly spread formations for passing, and both are getting 0 snaps, according to the game summaries. I guess I would understand this to be the issue if there was an arbitrary rule in play that wouldn't allow DC positions to be filled by players OOP. However, if the DC is going to be bypassed by the system, and only players matching the position are to play at any given spot, then there would be no need for a depth chart? Also, they have had snaps at the WR5 spots before in 5 wide, so I don't see why this should be an issue.

I came across this thread: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5148491 to which I am having similar issues.

I also have a couple DT's and a LBr who are getting very low, or close to 0, snaps per game.

I've now gone and re-did the offense, defense and special teams DCs for a third time in the hopes that it was a bug, but no change in how the snaps play out. I've always used frequently as the default, so that isn't an issue. Conditioning is all above 30, at a minimum. A lot play on ST's, but one of the specific TEs I am trying to figure out has been kept off the ST depth charts for the purpose of testing this all out. Still has not made a difference.

Would love to have anyone come in and take a look.

very dumb question (sorry).

do you have multiple depth charts? Are you changing one other than the one set as "default"?

Inactive teams are treated like CPU teams and use the default generated DC.

Actually, our team is very active and had similar issues. If you look at our games, you will notice some players playing 0-10 plays.

Our last few games, we didn't have this issue. Our depth chart has not changed (that I'm aware of).

So now my TE does not get any plays because it is being treated as a CPU team? Great! So there goes a season of watching him do nothing.

For real? Is there a way to change that (other than to track down threadkiller)?

Also, upon further review, wtf are you guys thinking with this? Why in gods name would you default the DC just because the owner is MIA for a week or two?

And further, on a different topic, with the pure amount of inactive owners (consider 3/6 offers from teams for new dots are always from inactive owners) why in god's name would you penalize the rest of the team for trying to keep the team active?

If you send a message to Support, they'll usually give you (as GM) the team to take over and run properly. Team is already paid for, so it won't cost you a thing. If Thread comes back at some point, the team can get transfered back to him.

Might be a little early in the process, but I sent a message to support, none the less.

@ corndog - so now that i got this out of my system, what can we do to change this system? On the surface, it would seem to unnecessarily penalize the agents with players on the team, as well as the GMs/HC's etc if they are putting work in day to day to keep the team together/running.

Is there some criteria behind that process choice that we are missing? IS there a better way we can do this so that agents don't get overly frustrated and start demanding to leave, etc., even though the GM of the team is still active?
