When choosing your 3 traits, how do the percents stack?

What I mean, for example, is say you pick Bruiser, Meathead, and Rusher. All have lower SP costs for Power Running (among other things.) Two of them are 5% and one is 8%.

So what I'm asking is: do you get an 18% (8%+5%+5%) reduction in Power Running SP cost OR is it like GBL Classic where you get (based off 100%, 50%, 25%) 8%, 2.5%, 1.25% for a total of 11.75%?

That's a bit weird.

What I found was if you have a trait that lowers cost of a certain ability by 10 percent and another trait that lowers by 5 percent,

the cost would be 100% * 0.90 * 0.95 = 85.5% of the original cost.

I'm pretty sure this is the case.

Answer is it doesn't stack... instead you % the new, lower value you get.

I think he means if you have a -10% a -8% and a -5% you would get.

1.0*0.9*0.92*0.95=.7866
(100%)*(90%)*(92%)*(95%)
for a 21.3% reduction, not the additive 23%.

Well a 16.97 (basically 17%) is right up there with the 18% additive. Both are a lot better then the 11.75% I thought it might be.

to make it a bit more simple

you get 10% off your initial att
then you get 5% off of that att after you took 10% off
then another 8% off

Right, the returns do diminish slightly, but not nearly as quickly as in GLB1. They don't need to, I guess, since you can only pick 3 and they're all <15% (as far as I know) and they don't directly affect in-game mechanics like a +60% Break Tackle would.
