So I am a GLB1 vet and am digging this new version. Got the Gouchos trying to make this game fun for all of us. I logged in today to have a message from one of my agents "I wound up starting a team and I need you to release my guys .... thanks for understanding and good luck going forward..."

Id like to know what you other owners would do in this situation. I cut all his players letf some pretty big holes on my defense. I would rather not have them then have them and the agent not build the players like the game is supposed to be played.

Feel free to chime in....

I'd keep him for the season. Let him know he signed a contract and it isn't realistic to fill the roster at this point in the season. Let him replace each player individually and you'll release what he replaces.

yea, the idea for making him recruit replacements is a good one... a contract is a contract

depending how douchy the guy is, I might just keep him on the team and just take his guys out off the depth chart

That's just vindictive and doesn't help the agent or the team.

You're better off just cutting the players and letting him ruin someone elses team. Or, hold the owners' players hostage in the locker room wow I just started a hell of a movie script

Part of a team is cohesion and clearly there wasn't going to be any in this case, ZEN. Bad situation but better to have it early like this. You made the right choice to move on.... it won't be the last time you'll have to make that choice.

Reckon this is the best approach. If for some reason he wasn't getting any game time he would be voice his dissatisfaction, you can't just expect it to be a one-way relationship e.g. demand when to be released. It isn't always easy getting replacements in halfway through a season and it will be even harder once we have moved on from the rookie leagues!
