Not about mimic it's about adding to the expierence and depth of a game.

But, if they keep doing what GLB1 has, they are mimicking GLB1. this was something we thought was going to be brought in here also when we owned a team, but, the explanation was that they don't want to copy/mimic GLB1 too much.

I guess, being a team owner, you want to feel like you have an in-depth expierence I guess what I am saying, is other than adjusting tactics and recruiting players there is no difference, then running multiple players...

there's more than enough depth for owners in figuring out how to manage the tight rosters and salary caps.

Stadium building was a cute little minigame but it didn't really add anything of value to GLB, especially not after the first few times you reset a team and built the stadium up. Mostly it just made the offseason longer so people could do all the building crap.

Stadium building and ticket pricing was a solvable minigame that crippled your team if you didn't know how to work it properly
Glb2 is much more casual and designed with as many safety gates against screwing yourself as possible (respecs, no bonus SA/VA selection, no training, simplified personal tactics)
The only way it would return would be like some bonus to your cap for owning a team multiple seasons represented by a stadium that automagically gets bigger every season or otherwise is impossible to screw up.

Adds nothing of value.
Instead, GLB2 should have a stadium button that, when clicked, sends you to a Jpeg of cows in a field.
