I know we discussed this a bit in the Elite #1 thread, but I thought this could use it's own thread. We have several teams that have secured playoff spots and now know for sure they will be promoted. So, Where are you headed?

I'll keep the OP updated with a teams list.

Well, if the Raiders are lucky enough to make it, it will be USA.

The Paladins will be going to their rightful home in USA Pro, even if the Palookas are there too.

Boulder is going to Europe

ABD- Going home to Africa

How does this work, AC? You ask for a destination, and you just get it? I would assume that if 8 teams ask for North American, they all don't get it?

Nah, just put in a Support ticket on Day 42 to be moved up to Natty Pro. EllisBell will reject it, then ignore your appeals for 6 days, and Corndog will move you back to Reg Pro Elite #1 as a consolation prize on Day 48.

Meanwhile, another team with a worse record than you will be moved straight up to Natty Pro with no hassles.

See? No problem at all!

I'm assuming best record gets first dibs. I'll try to look it up.

From the FAQ...
Regional Pro - Teams promote through the tiers (Normal --> Competitive --> Elite). Top teams (usually Regional Pro Elite) are pulled to fill the remaining spaces in Nat. Pro leagues.

This is what they use to determine who stays in WL when there is an available spot...
1) Order of finish in their conference
2) W-L record
3) Points allowed

This is the Playoff Seeding/Tiebreakers
Seeding is determined by a team’s quantity of wins in their league.
If there are two or more teams with the same record, they are sorted via the following progression:
1. Head to head record amongst the other tied teams with the same record.
2. Number of points allowed (in all regular season games).
3. Number of points scored (in all regular season games).

Seeding is also used to determine home team in the playoffs. In GLB, home-field is always given to the higher seed. For purposes of the league championship game, home-field is decided by the following progression:
1. Regular season record
2. Points allowed (in all regular season games)
3. Points scored (in all regular season games)

One of the three above is probably similar to what they use when determining who gets priority of Natty Pro destination.

You speak of this like you have some experience in the matter...

I must admit that was funny, but I'm actually rather sad at how true that is.

You don't have to be in Elite #1 to respond. Asmara, crackertown, war machine, Big Time?
