Stick is a stat for good tackles. Isn't there already a stat for tackles? one might ask. Yes....but sticks are "good" tackles. You know, as opposed to a bad tackle...cause bringing down the ball carrier isn't always good you know!! Sometimes you just gotta let him score! It is obviously a completely necessary stat and not at all a way to fill up the defensive stats bar a little more

Of all the things you need to watch the game to see what needs improvements, why do tackles get a special stat...why not balls caught in stride for receivers and while we're at it might as well divide pancakes into run block pancakes and pass block pancakes. Sticks are silly enough I just hope tons of silly stats don't start getting recorded
