There are a few things that make defense extremely hard. (Not in any particular order)

1. The inability to see who our coverage assignments are.
2. Doubling certain receivers while others run free.
3. The inability to defend SB Spread due to our limited 4WR playcall. (Example of how D playcall selection =/= O playcall in terms of volume and coverage. SB spread is just an example of our limitations by #ofWRs)

etc. (I will continue to add more as we discuss ITT)

The 3 above are definitely fixable and it sort of skews the game toward the offensive side of things.
Earlier in the first season I was told that this is an "offensive game", but now i realize it doesn't necessarily have to be that way, and that may just be an excuse to avoid putting in the time to truly fix the problem.

Just give us the coverage assignments and keep adding new plays. Pretty simple really. Though it would be helpful if the #WR tags weren't cock blocking a DC.

#1 is by far the first i would to see done...would also need to add the ability to see the d vs the variety of offense formations. Really sucks to find out in a game that your guys are not covering who you think they are

It's plays like this that make playcalling on D a nightmare. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/16637/403593

Well, the tags aren't "cock blocking" a DC.

Not letting people call broken plays is probably WAI.

What does this mean?

You understand that the Spread in the hands of a good offense is nearly unstoppable? Why is this, purely because of the #WR tags locking us in. This creates a few problems in that situation, but above all we just don't have enough [quality] plays to limit our situational playcalling that drastically.

Teams like Djibouti can run SB Spread inside for 3+ ypc on run defenses like mine.. That kinda stuff is borderline exploity.

FS and CB cover WR 1, CB5 Blitzes leaving WR 5 open. What should have happened in that situation, is the FS should be covering WR 5.

If I want to call a goalline defense against a 5 WR set, that should be my right.

At least put in some plays where the safeties are closer to the LOS.
