When you are setting up your depth charts, for example of kickoff returns, if you don't have anybody listed in a particular position will it take anyone and use them during that play?

Does the substitution frequency matter at that point?

If you auto order and only have one player at a position does it ever sub him out when winded if there are no backups listed under him?

My depth chart has a single guy at LG and two at RG, but they sometimes play LG and he sometimes plays RG.

My ROLB normally never comes out, but just started getting put at LOLB and SS even though the depth chart doesn't allow it. That might be the heuristic check box and might be using formation depth charts instead of "default" for everything.
