Warrior General Games

I hope nobody minds, but thought I would give this a try. Going to be tough this first week as the teams have changed quite a bit from the end of last season. The predictions are what I believe the winning team will win by.

1) Reno vs Twin City: More than the fact that Twin City is new and has empty roster spots filled with CPU players (although key positions are filled,) I think Reno could be the most improved team going into season 2. Lets see how their play calling is.

Prediction: Reno +25


2) LLF vs Iowa: LLF is a full CPU team going against the Season 1 league Champs. Not sure how this team was put in our league but the pressure is on the Rogues to not look foolish here.

Prediction: Iowa +31


3) DEI vs Providence: This one is a toss up with a couple teams that made some changes to the offseason. I believe this one will be a defensive battle but DEI comes out on top. If I were to pick a TIE this week this one would be it.

Prediction: DEI +1


4) Minnesota vs Memphis: If you ask me this is the matchup of the week. I think the Maniax worked hard to improve their team from the end of last season and the Stunners continue to be competitive as a top Gator league team. Both teams are rebuilding chemistry.

Prediction: Minn +7


5) Murder City vs GSD: Murder City is looking to make a statement here and is I think among the favorites to win the Season 2 Gator League Championship. Sorry SteelDogs....I think you got a bad first week draw.

Prediction: Murder City +28


6) South End vs Portland: This is going to be an interesting matchup as I know the Revenge have committed to being an improved team this year and Portland is new to the league. Until Portland proves otherwise, Im going with the Revenge.

Prediction: South End +14


Actual Results: Straight up 3-3 vs Spread 2-4

Long Live the Fighters - I had a player there last season. Owner disappeared shortly after their playoff loss and didn't log in again. He even had new recruits lined up for season 2.

As a result - all of the contracts expired (this morning) and the roster was emptied...

No idea what happened. Modus had been pretty into the game (though their team forum was about completely empty except for some complaining).

Thats too bad...I liked that we had a pretty active league last season

I OCed for him on version 1...Great owner, very thorough, but there were times where he just never logged on for literally a month at a time, so this doesnt surprise me

Great Job Riddler, always makes the league more competitve to have write ups.

I just signed to Modus team today, 5 catches, 1 drop, 61 receiving yards, 1 TD against Iowa Rogues #21 ranked ladder team.

I hope Modus gets active because i want to win some games.

This league is getting stronger. 6 teams in the top 100, and 1 in the top 25. I believe 3/4 of those 5 teams are really top 50 candidates if not higher. I also think that there are 2-3 other teams that are top 100 quality (again if not higher).

Yeah 3-3...but it was the new teams that suprised me...I got this...should do a little better in the next match ups

I wasnt close enough for you to take any stake in it...but for what its worth I have Denver winning by 9...ouch...dont anyone shoot me. Im a Lions fan so I could care less who wins.
