I'm not sure if anyone else ran into this problem but I ended up retiring a player close to the end of last season and didn't realize that retiring him early would put me under the number to fill a superstar bar.

My suggestion would be to show some type of estimated/future superstar points if you keep all your current players to the next tier. Shouldn't be too hard to implement. Maybe just a number in parenthesis or maybe a different color bar next to the normal Gold bar that shows how many superstar points you will have at the end of the season.

I'd also maybe add to this suggestion that when you already have a superstar at a tier, the bar is full red. It's well known, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone spent a whole season trying to fill up a bar after they have a superstar at that same tier thinking that they'll get another, and only end up wasting a season

Have the bar filled up silver for what it will potentially look look, gold when it's actually filled or something along those lines. I like

That could work

I'll add that to the OP good idea

Some pretty good ideas here. We learned a lot from S1 on SS progress bars and the confusions it may cause. More clarification, even if it is as simple as coloring, is a good thing.
