Cool - it definitely fires - the dude just falls over and gets tackled no matter what though - so whatever partially fixes that it can't keep him up right but doesn't make it OP.

Boom/bust model:

If it succeeds, automatic broken tackle (10%, 15%, 20%). If it fails, huge hit to carrying grip (15, 20, 25). Each level increases the chance of success, but also increased the penalty to carrying grip.

Alternative model:

If it fires, all incoming tacklers have their tackle tech and grip reduced (15, 20, 30) and their tackle roll is capped (to 90%, 85%, 70% of max). Carrying grip rolls are capped (to 90%, 85%, 70% of max).

Might also reduce the balance of the tackler?

Stiff Arm should cause a morale penalty to failed tackler. There's few things in football more embarrassing the next morning in film study than the guy that got stiff armed right in front of the camera.

I'd be on board with that.

Id go with the boom or bust model.....basically it should be like power thru but instead from the side of the player instead of the front of the player

Power through is pretty much just boom though.

Yeah, but Power Thru doesn't have a penalty the way stiff arm does.

...and they lose morale.

Every other SA tells you what the energy/morale loss is when the SA fires. Please to fix.

Also what are the three levels now?
