what browser? old ie isn't supported.

There has been a bug in the past that happens when a player is frantically changing numbers around very quickly, this leads to buttons not responding. I would ask him to try it again to make sure that it isn't this.
Also, Old IE is a bad idea (Actually any IE)..unfortunately in many work places, it's still a requirement.
