2nd and 4 - BIG HB SWEEP LEFT - turns into a big gain - at end of play HB spins and goes out of bounds
--------play description - QB Nick Foles pitched to HB Ultra Jer but it fell incomplete.

advance to next play --- 3rd and 4

Maybe it was a visual bug and the play read correctly, just loaded the wrong images

except that the next play became 3rd down and still 4 yards to go from the previous LOS so I dont think its just visual but I could be wrong

that what I am saying, it was an incomplete pass in the sim, but the replays showed a pitch and gain

Unless the QB threw it as a forward pass, wouldn't it still be ruled a fumble and out of bounds for a first down?

Yes, thus the
And the code should never treat a pitch as a pass.

But I could see something odd where the code didn't properly think about a fumbled pitch landing out of bounds ahead of the line of scrimmage...not really, it should have just said "fumble"
Have we seen any fumbles go out of bounds?

Test server, ruled it out where the ball goes out.

If you watch the play it does not appear that the player fumbles. I know what we see isn't always completely accurate for what happens but it did not appear to be a fumble
