Forum > Bugs > G plays in game - doesn't show up in box score - takes big chem hit?

Was looking at chem for dots on my team Warsaw today when I noticed one dot - starting G - had chem of 54 while pretty much every other dot is 80-100. Wondering why I checked some games to see if he was getting low PT for some reason, but that wasn't an issue until I checked a recent ladder game - http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/11599. He played in the game but doesn't show up in the box score anywhere. So I'm thinking maybe that has something to do with his low chem? Hell - who knows. Contacted support so we'll see what happens.

Oh yeah - dot is G Jeff Hagland.

Pallow sent a reply that it has nothing to do with the dot not being in the box score for a game (known bug I guess).

Said it is build related (low Heart), but hard to buy that since he is almost identical to the rest of the guards, and not one other dot on the team seems to be suffering low chem from any similar lack of Heart or any other attribute. Some big hits or a bad game I can see maybe a 5 pt. difference - hell even 10 pts. but a 30 point drop? I don't buy it.

I've seen the "not in a box score" bug myself: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5141269
Nice to hear they know about it.

Chem gains should have absolutely nothing to do with Heart or playing time; it's based on contract size (low, medium, high) and number of games with the team. With a medium contract (and not having the Easy Going trait) you should get 4-6 chem per game.

I have no idea why medium contract players are only in the 80s right now, I haven't been watching chem very much since the start of the season so I'm not sure if that value is still correct. At any rate, the only things I can think of are:

1) You left the team and resigned at 0 chem at some point. Seems unlikely
2) You used to have a "low" contract and recently signed to a "medium" contract.
3) You hit a bug with "renegotiate contract" early in the season (it's been fixed since then) where changing your contract with your existing team reset your chem.

Mousing over the chem window on the roster page states that chem increases with playing time and longevity with a team. Heart affects morale, which should have nothing to do with chem.

And looking over the 3 things you point out above 1 is out for sure, 2 doesn't apply (but have to wonder why going from a low contract to medium would come with a chem hit), and 3 if this one applies it would have been the same for every other dot on the team, as we renegotiated contracts team wide.

Going from low to medium would have meant you played several games under a low contract, and thus got less chem for those games while under a low contract. There would have been no penalty for changing to the medium contract.

As for the renegotiate bug, i'm not certain if it was a 100% of the time bug or not.

Sorry glwarriors, I will contact you again about this. I made a horrible assumption that you were talking about his morale, simply because I viewed a few plays from that game and noticed the player mentioned was suffering some big hits.
