I have a power HB that is 240lbs. Does the game engine factor weight into the equation? Does it factor into breaking tackles?

I don't believe it does. I made a DT that was tall and fat, took his sprinting (44), quickness (30), Footwork (15), Balance (23), he had first step and closing speed S/A his 40 is 5.44

Height and weight both matter.

Create a player at min height/weight (pick your position and attributes and traits of choice) and then create the same player at max height/weight. Compare caps and costs. They aren't the same.

For sure it matters. I made two DTs for bhalls test server team, one a superstar. The tall/fat DT was the superstar, but the short/skinny DT got ten times the sacks and hurries.

On the run side, the other DT caused way more revcakes.

This, too. Caps are different but height and weight factor into the sim, too.

It will affect some skills minimally, at one point a skill could cost as much as 10sp more or less depending on height/weight.

Personally I think it's more for in-game factoring... The descriptions on height and weight in the actual creation screen explain it best. If you're building a power back you probably want a guy low to the ground and big enough to break tackles.
