Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but if I create a player either the day before or sometimes the day of a league game or Ladder game they play, then even if they do play in that game, they do not receive the 750 skill points they are supposed to get.

I looked through the FAQ's and could not find anything referencing this, but my understanding was that if they were on the depth chart of a game, a player should receive the skill points regardless of how long they were created before the game.

That is because you are already accounted the points for that game coming up. If you look at your progress bar, your player will be slightly ahead of all your other players that have not gotten points yet for the ladder game or regular season game.

I noticed the progress bar but not the skill points, wouldn't it be exploitable if you could just create a new player with 750 extra points before a game?

While I can't say for sure how exploitable it can be. It didn't do that big of a difference when it came to the games those players were in to me.
