Anyone have any ideas on how this works? If I had 100 strip and the ball carrier has 75 carrying grip, it seems unlikely that its as simple as roll vs. roll, especially considering I've seen many ball carriers taken down by tacklers who beat out their carrying grip by 15+ points and rarely see fumbles. Is there some type of automatic bonus given to not fumbling the ball? Any thoughts?

Power fumble forcing has to do with Power Tackling, Tech, and probably Intimidation.
Strip Tech fumbles probably has more to do with tackling grip, which gives you a much longer opportunity to strip the ball + if someone is dragging a player, there is a better chance of stripping the ball.

Unfortunately its not as easy as up Strip Technique and watch the ffums come..
Infact I have had to restart all of my players that I made "Strippers" due to absolutely 0 production.

So then do you also think strip technique needs to interact with higher tackling grip to create fumbles?

Judging by the Opportunist SA, I'd say you probably mostly want to interact with gang tackling situations to create fumbles with strip technique. Tackling grip probably also helps create more opportunities.
