If I were to receive a team after this season, would players I created now be able to be signed to it? Or would they be too high in level? (Since I'd be receiving a rookie team and I'm guessing players would be at sophomore level).

I'm wondering if it's worth bothering with making my players now if I can't even sign them to my own team. Also is there any way to know where we're at in the queue? It'd be nice to know how many are ahead of me.

or will they just simply eat up more salary as a balance?

I want my players to be effective now so I can test builds,but not have to delete them after one season due to the fact I can't sign my own players?

If you get a rookie team, then the players you have would be too high to play, if they become a sophomore.

bleh, time to restart I guess

The only way to get your players on your team is to ask for a release at a certain time this season. It's not the best choice to do though.
